We wanted to build a video chat app where people can meet someone new in seconds. Beyond video, it needed AI characters to chat with, live streams, games, and steady revenue from coins and a VIP plan. Safety came first, so every call had to be checked for unsafe content, and our team needed one admin panel to run it all.
We built a Flutter app for Android and iOS, a NestJS backend, a Next.js admin panel and a Next.js website. Video calls run on WebRTC with instant matching, and an on-device safety filter checks every call. Users can chat with AI characters, create their own private AI, watch live streams, play games and earn daily rewards. The website brings new users to the app through search-friendly pages, an AI-assisted blog and free games.
